 Ann has over 35 years of experience in field sales and sales management and has serviced all trade classes.  Ann’s career in Health and Beauty Care began in 1977 as District Sales Manager and Professional Area Manager for Johnson Products Company Inc. Chicago IL.  She joined M.V.Roberts & Company in 1983 heading the West Coast Sales Team representing such brands as Soft Sheen, Soft Sheen Carson Loreal, Sara Lee Household & Body Care, Ampro Industries, Inc., Summit Laboratories, Carole Cosmetics, JM Products, Pro-Line International and managed Namaste Laboratories Sales efforts from its infancy in 1996 to its leadership position at $115M.

 An industry veteran with a stellar reputation, Ann is what most would consider a natural marketer. A grassroots expert, Ann knows her markets and has her fingers on the pulse of the consumer whether professional or retail. A pillar in the beauty supply retailer community, Her strong knowledge of margins makes product pricing her second nature. Her close relationship with the trade gives her intimate knowledge of the industry and establishes her as an advisor to many.

Michael

Hollifield

Director Sales Operations

 Michael Hollifield is Director Sales Operations for M. V. Roberts & Company, LLC.    Michael joined M. V. Roberts & Company in January 2012 and has been instrumental in diversifying the company’s portfolio by on-boarding several new hair care manufacturers.  He is responsible for business development and execution of the sales plan, with his staff for the International Markets, including joint ventures, strategic planning and operations for the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East and Africa Markets. 

 Before being named to his current position, Michael was a Corporate Trainer for Avarto Bertelsmann AG, consulting for Google in Mountain View California.  In this position he was instrumental with the Knowledge Transfer Project which transferred the billing and collecting services from Mountain View, California to Manila Philippines where he recruited and induction trained over 100 employees internationally. 

 Prior to Arvato Bertelsmann AG, Michael held a position as an Account Executive for Robert Half International in San Francisco, California specializing in the placement of senior level financial consultants throughout the San Francisco Market addressing the needs of his clients. 

 Michael held the role of Director of Operations, Student Services in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Academy of Healing Arts, a Post-Secondary school specializing in the education of Medical Assistants, Billers and Codes, Massage Therapy and Administrative positions. 

 Early on in his career Michael spent 23 years in Telecommunications with Contel, GTE and ultimately Verizon.  Throughout his tenure, Michael took positions of increasing responsibility stemming from Customer Service, Budgets, Accounting, Product Management, Program Management and Sales where he was responsible for a strategic account generating over $600 M in sales. 

 Michael earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University - Dallas, Texas from the Cox School of Business Executive MBA Program.
